Photos from a quick game we played this Sunday. Figures are Sash and Saber. Approx 400 figures per side. Played to a near conclusion in 5 odd hours using JR3. Table was L-shaped and approx 14 feet x 6 feet/8 feet. I'm a big fan of 40mm figures and believe they are clearly more suited to large scale battalion type games than many would have you believe.

Game was played at a local community hall which I rent once a month and invite friends to play a featured game - works better than a club for me and guarantees a game a month. Plus we have a locker which allows me to store a lot of the stuff!

There were two objectives and at the end of the game each of the combatants controlled an objective each. So we decided to role D6s, to determine the relative value of each objective points to determine a "winner". Union roled first and threw a 1 for their objective! Confederates followed up with a 1 also. Draw.

Photos are unsharp because of tight depth of feild due to hand holding the camera!
