Will BAM figures based on standard GW round bases fit in with 1/48 Tamiya vehicles?

I'm not familiar with GW bases but BAM work well with Tamiya 1/48.

depends on how 'accurate' you want to be, I use all the Tamiya range with BAM, Artizan etc and they look fine. If you want accuracy they won't fit, BAM are 1/56 etc but as the figures aren't totally accurate it doesn't matter.
Using GW plastic bases is a heinous sin however and you should stop now or puppies will die.

To me, GW bases make the figure look as if it is hovering above the terrain. Add to that the 'unnatural' look to the sides of the base. But some people dearly love them. There have been long, and acrimonious, debates about their qualities, or lack of them, on other fora.

as above but also.....
as they're plastic they have no weight, the minute you put your figure at an angle they fall over as they're top heavy.
they look ugly, they cost way too much, use 1p(20mm) or 2p (25mm) or use penny washers for that magnetic effect.
GW 'invented' plastic bases so they could charge you 10p each for them.

Would agree with all said above. Washers or even good old 2p pieces are
the better option..Bit of magnetic sheet and your storage / transport problems
are solved as well.

My WW2 28s are currently on 1p peices, I like the fact the base doesn't dominate the model and the weight aids stability but I am considering 2p peices too! My 15mm are on washers and metal bases for magnetic properties. was considering 28s as well but loads of foam trays to use instead.

Depends if you are liberal or strict pertaining to scale. If everything is 1:48, I don't see a problem. Matter of taste.
